Big progress happening at 115 University 👷‍♂️🔨

All trades are on site and things are moving fast as this space continues to take shape. Framing is well underway, with new walls going up and layouts becoming more defined by the day. You can really start to see this project come together.

A huge shoutout to for stepping in and cleaning things up while rerouting the boiler lines — making everything more efficient and ready for the next phase. Great work keeping things tight and organized 👏 Be sure to give them a follow!

We also had Royal City Plumbing on site reworking the existing plumbing to accommodate two sinks and a dishwasher, setting this space up for proper functionality moving forward.

Behind the scenes, Obee Electric's strong project management is keeping all trades coordinated, timelines on track, and the site running smoothly with everyone working together.

Big progress happening at 115 University with KW Habilitation 💥

Our team at Obee Electric is proud to be leading the project management on this one — and things are moving fast.

Walls are coming down as the demolition phase continues, opening up the space to create a more accessible layout. At the same time, all crews are on site working together to keep things on track, and we’ve got lumber being dropped off as framing is ready to begin.

This is where coordination matters most — trades aligned, timelines tight, and progress happening every day.

Obee Electric is on site at 115 University, kicking off demo day and getting things ready for a full electrical upgrade. Controlled chaos today- but it is all part of a well-planned process.

The team has been busy cleaning out the space- removing furniture, taking down existing cabinetry, and coordinating donations. Crews are progressing with wall demolition to open up the layout and make the space more accessible and functional.

With strong project management coordination, every step is scheduled, and aligned with the full build team to keep the project moving from demo to finish.

For many years, 115 University Avenue was a busy and welcoming place for learning, connection, and community participation. As needs changed and the building aged, the space became underused. We're excited to share that that story is changing.

KW Habilitation is reimagining 115 as a flexible, accessible community space where more people can gather, learn, and connect. With key upgrades already completed and work beginning on a new accessible kitchen, the vision includes senior drop‑in opportunities, horticulture therapy, training spaces, and room for community events!

Obee Electric is proud to be leading the electrical scope and full project coordination for this KW Habilitation Renovation. We are excited to help KW Habilitation reimagine 115 University Avenue as a flexible, accessible community space, where more people can gather, learn, and connect.

This project includes a complete redesign of the kitchen, gymnasium, and multi-use areas, with a strong focus on accessibility, efficiency and modern design.

From accessible workstations and properly placed outlets, to safe, functional lighting and appliance integration, every detail is designed to create a space that works for everyone.

Beyond electrical scope, Obee Electric is acting as the project management hub- coordinating trades, timelines, and ex*****on to ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. This project showcase our ability to go beyond electrical, bringing together teams, managing complex builds, and delivering high-quality results.
