Thank you to everyone for coming out and supporting us yesterday. We had an amazing turnout with over 1000 people through the gates and over 40 visiting aircraft.

We couldn't have done it without the help of so many volunteers, who have put so much time into this event.

Special thanks to Neil Harris Aerosports for putting on such an incredible display!

Additional thanks to these local organizations for providing essential services:

Kootenay Lake Sailing Association
Nelson Search and Rescue
Janice Morrison
Kootenay Lake Aviation
Columbia Wireless

We hope to do this again next year!

A couple of NPA club members flew over to the South Okanagan Flying Club for the Friday night BBQ.

What a feast they put on! Many thanks!

We had a great time showing these future aviators from the WIldflower School the airport, our club plane, and an A-Star from Purcell Helicopters. Those little ones were so strong they pulled the Cardinal with ease!

We also took them to the West Kootenay Model Club airfield to show them R/C model planes and rockets with some great demonstration flights.

Find a large screen, a comfy chair, and take 10 minutes to give this video a watch.

One of the best videos I have seen of the Snowbirds flying their iconic CT-114 Tutor jets.

Do me a favour...watch this on the biggest screen you can find![sh...

Sometimes a hit bears repeating -- so enjoy this make-your-own on ! And if you make it -- post a photo!
