As we deal with climate change, the way commercial properties are serviced in the north needs to change. Gone are the days of constant freezing temps and only the need of sand for traction.

Property managers need to update their terms of service and start to implant bare asphalt policies. With this, the use of salt will become the primary material spread. Salt will help reduce the slushing of snow in the warmer temps, making properties easier to drive and walk in.

The reason snow rates are so expensive is because insurance is so expensive. We the contractors take 100% liability. But if the property mangers terms of service are so low, we can get out of majority of claims.

There needs to be a change in the way all services are performed in the north. The mentality of “We’ve done it this way for years” needs to change.

With the new year comes a new brand.

We have incorporated the company. With this change we will be focusing more on a construction/landscape oriented business.

We will still offer maintenance based packages, but no more single season services due to the flooding of the market with cheap services; as anybody and there dog can cut grass or remove snow.

By doing this we will be able to focus on a core group of clientele and build lasting relationships.
