Our dedicated team of carpenters, install specialists, and oversize haul truck drivers are capable of transporting and installing modular building projects, big or small. We work with industry leading manufacturers to provide a full service operation. In Summer 2022 we launched our new line of homes, built in Nanaimo for life anywhere in BC. Originally specializing in the commercial and industrial

sectors, CIP Modular offers a full range of turn-key modular solutions including custom build, transportation and installation. Our modular building expertise includes (but is not limited to) homes and cottages, portable classrooms, daycares, and office spaces big or small. Our work portfolio is broad and diverse, with clients spanning remote locations all over BC, Alberta and the Yukon. With over 30 years in the modular construction industry, our reputation is second to none. We are CSA Certified and COR Certified and actively employ a full-time health and safety officer to ensure our team is operating at levels that exceed the standards. CIP Modular proudly owns and operates all of our own equipment; you can put your trust in our sound fleet of modern semi-trucks, fork lifts, site machinery, site service trucks and pilot trucks.

Today we had the pleasure of hosting Kevin Lockert, Vice President of Operations at Alta-Fab Structures, at our facility in Nanaimo.

While we're located in different provinces, we're part of the same industry and face many of the same challenges and opportunities. Time spent sharing ideas, discussing processes, and learning from one another is valuable for everyone involved.

Kevin also arrived prepared with some Alta-Fab Double Double coffee creamer for our recently upgraded coffee machine, which was appreciated by the team.

We believe strong relationships across the modular industry make all of us better. Thank you for taking the time to visit, Kevin. We look forward to the next opportunity to connect.

One of the biggest misconceptions about modular construction is that every building has to look the same.

In reality, modular gives clients a lot of flexibility. Not just in layout and functionality, but in the overall look and feel of the space as well.

These are two versions of The Alder, our 24x40 dry modular classroom model. Each version is designed around the same functional needs, but with a completely different look and feel.

At CIP Modular, our team works collaboratively with clients to balance function, code requirements, site conditions, and aesthetics. From siding colours and exterior finishes to interior selections and layouts, every decision is made with the end user and community in mind.

A building should work well. But it should also feel welcoming, intentional, and connected to the people using it every day.
