Every child deserves the chance to step onto the field, learn the value of hard work, and feel the pride of being part of a team. When our local businesses step up to invest in the next generation, our community grows stronger together. A huge thank you to all the volunteer coaches, parents, and organizers who pour their time and energy into our young athletes! 👏💪

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of Honey & Coach Trey with IDM Roofing! 🙌

For years, IDM Roofing has stood behind our Seahawks and our youth, helping us create opportunities, build confidence, and make a lasting impact on the lives of our players.

Your support goes far beyond a sponsorship, it helps our kids play the game they love, be part of a team, and create memories that last well beyond the season. 💙

Thank you, Honey & Coach Trey, for believing in our players and continuing to invest in our football community year after year. We truly appreciate everything you do! 🏈

Hello Football Nanaimo Families,

Many of you may have heard that our Vice President, James McRae, has experienced a very serious accident. James is currently in the ICU, and he and his family are facing a critical and incredibly difficult time. They need our collective support, compassion, and well wishes.

I have been in contact with the family, and they have kindly asked — as do we — that they not be contacted directly at this time. This will allow them to focus fully on James, his care, and his healing.

If you have any messages of support, concerns, or questions, please reach out to our President, Wanda, who will serve as the main point of contact and will ensure that information is shared appropriately with the family.

We understand how much everyone cares and wants to show support. However, we respectfully ask that no one visit the hospital at this time. James’ condition remains critical, and the best way to support him and his family right now is by giving them the space and privacy they need.

Thank you for honouring these wishes. As circumstances change,
we will share updates with the community.

* GoFundMe account: https://gofund.me/82d91bfea
* eTransfers can be sent to our Treasurer Carlie Krampl at: [email protected]. Funds will be given to the family for immediate costs as they navigate this challenging time. Please advise if you’d prefer to remain anonymous in the memo.
* We have set up an account at the Regional Recycling Nanaimo - Hayes Rd - Bottle Depot. Please ensure you state the account “McRae Family 2026” prior to the final count by the employees.

Please take a moment to talk with your families and hold them a little closer — life can truly change in the blink of an eye. If any families feel their players may need additional support, please reach out. We are happy to come together as a community and create a plan to support one another.

Thank you again for your understanding, care, and compassion.
Sincerely,
Wanda Currie, President Football Nanaimo

Please direct all well wishes for the family to me: 250-667-5695 or [email protected].
