"THAT'S NOT HOW YOU TILE"

Sometimes, you don’t need to see the problem to know it’s there. 👀

Before Grant even started taking this tile up, he knew something wasn’t right.

A simple tap on the tile told him everything — hollow spots, a sign that the tile wasn’t properly bonded underneath.

And once he started pulling it up… well, the problem became pretty obvious. 😬

This is exactly why experience matters. Knowing what to look for, what to listen for, and what’s happening beneath the surface can make all the difference.

That same construction knowledge is something we bring to real estate through Team Lake Life. Helping buyers see beyond the finishes and understand what they’re really buying.

Because when you’re buying or selling a home, what’s underneath matters!

Today we celebrate the dads who do it all. The ones who build, fix, teach, protect, and always find a way to make it happen. 🔨🏡

Being a father is a lot like building a home, it takes patience, hard work, sacrifice, and showing up every single day. The strongest family foundations aren’t built with materials, they’re built through love, guidance, and the memories we create along the way.

From our family to yours, wishing all the amazing dads and father figures a day filled with laughter, relaxation, and time with the people who matter most.

Happy Father's Day 👨👔

&

Happy First Day of Summer 😎🏖

A project may take longer when little helpers are on site, but some things are worth the extra time.

Teaching patience, craftsmanship, and the value of hard work creates something even more meaningful than the finished project.

Building decks today. Building future builders for tomorrow.

High winds can bring down trees and branches fast — especially in Muskoka and surrounding areas. Here are a few quick tips to stay safe before, during, and after a windstorm:

🌲 Watch for leaning trees, cracked branches, or hanging limbs around your home
🔌 Stay clear of downed power lines and report them immediately
🚗 Avoid parking under large trees during high winds
🏠 Secure outdoor furniture, trampolines, and loose items before storms roll in
🚧 If a tree falls on your property, document the damage before cleanup if it’s safe to do so
🪚 Never attempt to remove large fallen trees near power lines yourself — call professionals

A little preparation can help prevent major damage. Stay safe, Muskoka! 💨🌲
