Outdoor kitchen going in with Unilock’s U-Cara Modular system.

The cabinets are aluminum-framed, which changes the job completely. What used to be two days of block work is a few hours. They’re rust-free, and light enough to carry into a backyard a machine can’t reach — which matters more than it sounds when the only way in is a three-foot side gate.

This one’s got Napoleon doors, space for a sink and barbecue, drawers, pullout garbage, a paper towel holder, and a workstation big enough to actually prep on.

Day 1 of a full driveway replacement and front yard upgrade, and it starts the way every good driveway should: by tearing out the old one completely.

Demo isn't just about clearing space. It's the step where we see what's been going on underneath, and that tells us how to build the new one right.

On site today, running a walkway from the patio down to the pool.

Before this, everyone was cutting across the grass to get between the two which is how you end up with a worn dirt track by August.

Tired of dealing with heat trace wires or tossing salt down your drains every winter? ❄️💧

Here is how our frost relief downspout system works:

1️⃣ Solid 4-inch PVC pipe runs underground directly from the downspout.

2️⃣ A built-in soakaway pit handles the majority of the water absorption.

3️⃣ When heavy rain hits, hydrostatic pressure lifts the pop-up emitter cap to release extra water safely at the surface.

4️⃣ If ground freezing ever occurs, water safely discharges without backing up your system.

"The pool was beautiful. It was just in need of a complete overhaul."

They got their time out of it. Kids grew up, and that's totally fine — it just wasn't the backyard they needed anymore.

So we took out what used to be a large pool, filled it in, and compacted it in layers so the area won't settle later. Then graded the whole thing, pulled out the sunken concrete walkways, put in new steps and new Unilock Granito paving stone, built two patio areas, re-sodded the entire yard and ran a complete new fence the whole way around.
