This timber frame could be the beginning of a work shop, man cave or tiny home. It measures 16x25 ft or 400sq ft. As shown, it would go on a concrete floating pad. I can change the size and shape to whatever your needs are.
The basic price of this frame as it is shown is $20,000 unfinished or $25,000 for all the items (on the bottom part) to be sanded, stained and sealed.

Basic 8x12 Lean-to style Cabana Timber Frame.
No permit required.
As a kit delivered to your place (within a 50km radius)
Posts and Ties are 6x6 and the plates are 6x8. The wood species is Eastern White Pine.
You stain it and raise it yourself. Hardware provided. $3,000
For me to sand and stain it: Add $1,000
For me to help you raise it: Add $300
For me to raise it completely: Add $600
The roof will be quoted separately as a roof can vary greatly depending on what you want.

This structure will add a nice feature to your back patio. A great shelter for your BBQ and yourself while it's raining or snowing. This one is 6ft x8ft but can be made to suite your needs.
Made from 6x6 White Pine timbers planed, sanded and stained: $6,000
Made from 6x6 pressure treated lumber: $4,000
The roof is not included but can be quoted separately depending on what type of roof you want.

Happy new year everyone.
I have some exciting news. Timber Thane is building a house, yes a small timber frame house of course. This new house will be built right on my own front lawn and will be rented out for my retirement income. Where I live, in Strathroy Caradoc, the municipality is actually promoting this concept with grants to help offset some of the costs. A house like this on your property would also be a good idea so you could move your aging parents closer to you or your aging kids to have their own place. Whatever the reason, Timber Thane can help you make this happen. Whether you want it 100% complete or maybe you just want me to build the frame for it and you finish it yourself. Check with your local building department to see if they are offering any incentives.
Also, Timber Thane is still building Cabanas if you want one.
