Now that we're well into the heat, it's time for another progress update from the G&L site!

On our most recent visit, the concrete crew came on site to pour the loading dock walls. Meanwhile, our er****on crew was putting steel studs in place at the entrance area to get it ready for additional IMP.

Progress at the Romafa Metalworks site in Arborg!

The weather has been relentless fighting our crew. Seems like spring hasn't quite arrived yet. Despite that, interior framing for the offices is well on its way, electrical is scheduled to go in this week, and mechanical setup is set to begin as well.

Another update from G&L Sales on McGillivray!

The TPO membrane on the roof is nearly done and huge progress has been made on electrical and mechanical. Office framing is nearly complete, and the crews are prepping to pour the floor. A huge help as well will be hydro, which is coming at the end of the month!

We're getting close at our Commercial Condos project in Winnipeg!

You can see that the warmth and sunshine has dried the ground where it can reach, but with the roof finished, it's definitely still slushy inside. Our crews are nearly done insulating. Fun fact: the lot features another building with an identical design, but with a wooden structure.

Farm shops are a special type of project: they're much more personal, probably a place for the client to hang out too, which means it needs to fit the vision as closely as possible, from design to completion.

When we provide our client with a design, we're not just showing them a possibility, we're setting a hard expectation. Even slight deviations feel like failures; but whenever we see the design in the finished product, it feels like a victory.

We're near completion with the Nutrien Fertilizer Storage project! Exterior cladding is complete and the roof is nearly done. Our crews found the 10/12 roof pitch particularly challenging to install, especially with the temperature fluctuations we've been having.

Once the final trims and other finishing details are complete, Wiebe's will leave site and the building should be fully operational shortly after!

Checking in with our Alberta arm: here are some projects going right now!

In Edmonton*, our crew is busy installing the structure as part of the new facility project for sign manufacturer Behrend's Group. Building supplied by .steel.buildings

Just north of Calgary, our team has been busy performing an extensive, full cladding replacement and roof replacement on the Fuller Animal Specialty Hospital's new building.
