Today is my birthday, so I thought I would show off a cloche I made a bit ago, that may have ended up not being put out for sale because I loved it so much. 😂
I actually used one of my personal amythest crystals because the ones I bought didn't feel right. I think that was a sign, because as soon as it was put together I reeeaalllyy loved it. Hahah. Sometimes the struggle is do I want to sell it and make money, or do I keep it and love it forever? 😅🖤

Just waiting on all my supplies to arrive, and pinning another batch of goodies over the next couple days. Also growing lots of flowers to use for my creations, already got a pretty good pile of strawflower. 🌼

Got to drop off a little gift for one of my main supporters Bar Over HC Honey today. Made with her bees, and her wax comb. 🐝
I really wanted to make this special for her with a lavender and honey feel. Might have to make a couple more mini cloches like this in the future due to how lovely this one turned out!

My first artistic shadowbox frame. 🖤🦋

So I recently received a message from someone that would like a frame repair that was done by another artist. The moth was missing its bottom wings, and the swallowtail had broke in half. I asked if she would not only like a repair, but a complete revamp. She agreed and we went forward with a completely new look. I removed the old moss, random pinecone(lol), and the moth. I fixed up the swallowtail, moved the striped blue crow butterfly and added glue to the base to ensure they won't wiggle around. Added two butterflies (Heliconius Melpomene Amaryllis, and Battus Polydamas), and a Madagascan Sunset Moth.

I finished it all off with an artistic touch in each corner with some different mosses, dried florals, as well as adding in the little crystals from the original piece... and might I say I am just a tad obsessed with this? I kept it on my wall for a few days until she came and picked up, and I now need to create my own wall of these. 😂

-After claiming said item you will be expected to arrange pickup and payment within 24hrs.

⭐️Pickup location is in Moose Jaw
Pickup is available in Weyburn from May 8th-10th please order and arrange pickup ASAP if you are wanting something brought to Weyburn.
If you are from Regina, and not in a rush we can arrange a pickup spot for my next trip to town.⭐️

-I do not ship any of these items at this time. Due to how fragile they are I just don't feel comfortable. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

-Please note the glass on the cloches and frames can have some stains, scratches, or other imperfections. I have cleaned them to the best of my ability, thank you for your understanding.

Guess what?
I am doing another pop-up, but at a different location! Just in time to get some lovely gifts for Mothers Day!
Where: Kates Crystals (610 Main St N, Moose Jaw)
When: Saturday, May 2nd. From 12-3:30.

Kates Crystals Shop graciously offered to be a location for my future pop-ups, and I accepted! I just finished a bunch of cloches, sealing them all up tomorrow just in time to make sure they are ready for Saturday. So I will have several cloches available and I am planning to make some frames as well!

I am so excited and hope to see some familiar faces. 🥰🦋

Dropped off a couple cloches a bit ago, one has sold. Three cloches and 2 frames available at the moment. Keep in mind that mothers day is coming up if you are looking for something special. 🖤

Happy Easter! 🐣 I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Got the pleasure of creating this Luna Moth frame for a special order. I really loved these moths before seeing them, but in person they are just absolutely stunning.

Did you know:

-The Luna Moth has an extremely short lifespan (5-10 days) due to the fact that they do not have mouths, or digestive systems.

-Their main predator is bats. Their best chance at evading bats is their tails. When they fly the two long frills(tails) on the end of their wings spin, making it hard for the bats' sonar to lock in and evade a deadly attack.

Thanks for reading! I am in the midst of pinning a bunch of insects right now. I am considering creating a large batch for May so there may be a few things to choose from for mothers day. 🥰
