As 3I/Atlas, only the third known interstellar object, makes its closest approach to Earth today, December 19, it felt like the perfect moment to revisit an old sci fi piece I created about 25 years ago.
In this scene, as a massive red celestial body looms near Earth, humanity is evacuated by helicopter from the rooftops of a major city.
Sometimes, fiction has a strange way of echoing reality.

Alors que 3I/Atlas, seulement le troisième objet interstellaire connu à ce jour, atteint aujourd’hui, le 19 décembre, son point le plus proche de la Terre, je me suis dit que c’était le moment idéal pour ressortir une vieille création de science fiction réalisée il y a environ 25 ans.
On y voit l’humanité évacuée par hélicoptère depuis les toits d’une grande ville, à l’approche d’un immense corps céleste rouge.
Parfois, la fiction résonne étrangement avec le réel.

Une chance que j’avais mon chocolat chaud ce matin… la super lune m’a complètement hypnotisé. 🌕✨
Dernière pleine lune de l’année, et selon les astronomes, une configuration qu’on ne reverra pas avant 2042.
Petit moment parfait dans ma cuisine.
