IBEW Local 1555 members have voted 97% in favor of strike action after negotiations with the Electrical Contractors Association of New Brunswick broke down.
Our members’ wages have been outpaced by inflation for years while corporate profits continue to grow. Skilled electrical workers who power this province deserve fair wages, respect, and working conditions that reflect their value.
We are ready to return to the bargaining table when meaningful progress is made.
Our workers deserve fair treatment and they need it now.

A huge thank you to International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for hosting their Trivia Night in support of United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick.

Thanks to everyone who participated, the event raised an incredible $3,297.15 to support local charities and programs helping people across our community. Your generosity helps ensure local people can access the supports they need, when they need them most.

Thank you for making a difference and for showing what community spirit is all about!

We stopped into the BGC Moncton today to show some of the High School kids how to bend a conduit and strip some wire for a connection.

Showing the next generation that the Electrical trade is a great option.
