Th-th-th-that's all folks! It's the end of the line for Mike Beers at J&D. They invented light bulbs then Mike came to work at J&D to fix them. 35 years with the company is astounding.

About two month into my apprenticeship I was paired with Mike and he was a great teacher early in my career. Now he's headed to NBCC to mold the minds of future electricians.

You'll always know Mike did the job because of the quality of workmanship, aaaannnnd he probably forgot a screwdriver.....

Mike has always been a dependable constant with the company. We've done many emergency calls, worked on many oddball projects, butted heads, came up with solutions and had a few laughs along the way.

We'll all miss you Mike, good luck with your new career.

WE ARE HIRING Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians.

Roles and Responsibilities

Work with team members to complete electrical commercial construction projects. Running conduits and wiring. Install lighting , fire alarm , security and various electrical devices as required to provide a finished project.

Shifts are generally Monday through Friday and a 40 hour +/- work week with some exceptions being shut downs or small specific projects.

Salary

To be determined depending on experience. Possibilities for advancements as career progresses.

RRSP program available after probationary period.

J&D Electric Ltd has been serving New Brunswick Since 1974. We are currently looking for people to join our team for projects in the south-east New Brunswick area, mainly in and around Moncton NB.

We are a Canadian Construction Association gold seal certified contractor. We are safety certified through the New Brunswick Safety Association.

Requirements

Minimum two years Canadian construction experience is a must. Fluent in English or French. We are looking for Journeyman electricians or apprentices with block 2 or higher, preferably with experience in EMT conduit and commercial construction as well as a positive attitude and willing to learn.
