We removed the old, underperforming header insulation and upgraded this basement with 2 lb closed-cell spray foam insulation.

✅ R12 spray foam on basement walls
✅ R21 spray foam on basement headers/rim joists
✅ Old header insulation removed and properly disposed of
✅ DC315 thermal barrier coating applied over the spray foam

We topped up the attic with R-35 blown-in insulation, bringing the total to R-60 across 1,173.5 sq. ft. The difference isn’t just what you can’t see—it’s what you’ll feel in comfort and energy savings.

Another attic brought up to today’s standards. 💪🏠

We topped up this attic insulation to **R-60**, improving energy efficiency, comfort, and year-round performance. Along with the insulation upgrade, we installed proper venting and winterized the attic hatch to help prevent heat loss where it matters most.

A warmer home in the winter, a cooler home in the summer, and lower energy bills all year long. ✅

✅ Installed R21 closed-cell spray foam on the basement walls
✅ Installed R21 closed-cell spray foam on the basement headers after removing old insulation
✅ Added an R20 cellulose top-up to bring the attic up to R60
✅ Installed proper attic venting
✅ Winterized and insulated the attic hatch
✅ Added attic and chimney retention dams

The result? A tighter, more efficient home with better comfort, lower energy loss, and less strain on the heating and cooling system year-round. ❄️☀️

It's always amazing how much of a difference proper insulation can make—from the foundation all the way to the roof.
