Well you take some sticks and add more sticks and boom the building starts coming together. Few days work and look what can be accomplished. Been a great sunny week. And loving the result soo far. Couple more sticks, some metal, bit of glass and soon it will be q cozy new Cabin right on the water for a very lucky family. Soo excited to be part of this project.

A little continuation of jobs i like more then i love. But going great. 24 ft of sill plate, 8 doubled/rebuilt joist, new insulation sealed back up ready for a new door and new life. Hopefully it lasts even longer then this ones 20 yrs.

A little dose of where we came from. We did this house about 10 yrs ago. From open frame stripped by the owner. To a finished product built specifically for there family. Now over the years it has changed owners and now a lovely ice cream shop in dieppe. But i love being able to see a project years later still shining like the day we built it. This was when we started a French restaurant. Turned into a family home with alot of style and class. From exposed beams with custom support beam to multi coloured mathematically rotating tile work. Custom butcher block counters. Continuous tile under the wood stove and brought into its own backsplash. Some of the most beautiful hard wood i have ever seen, continued up the stairs to one seamless unit. We also built a custom cedar vanity but it is living in a locked part of building now. I love this place and one day hope my house can be as beautiful as we did for this amazing family. And now ice cream shop.

Some days I love my job more then others today was not one of those days. But it went well. Lifted one minihome. Doubled 8 rotten joist. Started to fix a very rotten problem, 20 yrs of leaking sliding door. One amazing membrane underneath, it held all the water. So one sill, one door and some floor left and another happy fixed house. Back at it tomorrow.

Well the Chimney is Gone But the Mess it made now needs to go. Carpenter ants 14ft up the wall. They will destroy everything. Good thing I was there to Fix It, Make the family safe keep the walls up make them new, Even lifted the antiquated stove out of the way. Cleaned up the mess and left them never knowing it even existed.

Remove the Peak, Patch the hole, make it water tight. Soffit and Fascia to make it look pretty. Oh yeah watch out there ...
