A staircase doesn’t always need to be rebuilt to feel completely new.

This project was transformed with a full staircase refinishing and railing upgrade — changing the colour, refreshing the wood finish and updating the spindles for a cleaner, more modern look.

The original staircase stayed in place, but the new finish and railing details completely changed the feel of the space.

We pulled up the carpet on this curved staircase in Oakville and found the original oak treads — nail holes and all. Sanded to bare wood, stained, and finished. 2 staircases, done in 9 days. No moving out.
