ANTHAM offers services for smaller commercial construction jobs such as drywall, paint, floor installation, HVAC, new lighting, office updates, business renovations, etc. We work with a wide range of materials—brick, steel siding, concrete—and provide the same attention to detail on our smaller jobs that we offer on our larger projects, including obtaining permits, coordinating trades, and anything else you may require.

Progress at DENT Cabbagetown. 👷

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but the transformation is well underway.

From framing and rough-ins to insulation, drywall, exterior work and early finishes, this video gives a look at some of the work happening behind the scenes as the space continues to take shape.

A lot of what makes a finished space work beautifully will eventually be hidden behind walls and ceilings — and that’s exactly the point.

From rough-ins to finishing — what a difference.

It wasn’t long ago that DENT Cabbagetown was a maze of exposed framing, plumbing, electrical and HVAC rough-ins. Since then, we’ve watched the space steadily transform as insulation, drywall, plaster, windows, exterior work and other finishing stages have moved forward.

These are the moments when months of work behind the walls start to become an actual space.

There’s still more to come, but it’s rewarding to look back at where we started and see just how far the future home of DENT Cabbagetown has come for Dr. JB Spillane and his team.

Building a dental clinic is different. 🦷🏗️

A dental clinic may look like any other beautifully finished commercial space when the doors open—but what goes into building one is anything but ordinary.

Behind the walls are carefully coordinated plumbing, electrical, HVAC and specialized infrastructure designed around dental equipment and the way the clinical team will actually use the space. Add inspections, building requirements, equipment coordination and dozens of details that need to come together in the right sequence, and experience matters.

Our work on DENT Cabbagetown for Dr. JB Spillane is a great example. Long before the finishes go in, there’s an enormous amount of planning and coordination happening behind the scenes to make sure the finished clinic works as well as it looks.

That’s one of the advantages of working with a team that understands healthcare and dental construction: we know that what’s behind the walls is every bit as important as what you eventually see.

Sometimes the smallest details take a whole lot of work. 👷

Concrete pouring is underway at DENT Cabbagetown, including the new exterior steps.

When the project is finished, most people will simply walk up these steps without giving them a second thought. But getting to that point takes planning, preparation, forming, reinforcement, concrete work and—most importantly—a skilled team that knows how to bring it all together.

It’s a great reminder that in construction, even the seemingly simple parts of a project involve a lot of expertise behind the scenes.

Another step forward (literally!) as we continue building the future home of DENT Cabbagetown.
