DAY 39 - Yesterday was a special day for Royalty.

We came together to celebrate 40 years of building partnerships, delivering projects, and earning trust.

More importantly, we gathered to recognize the people who made it all possible, our employees, clients, consultants, trade partners, suppliers, and friends. Every relationship has played a role in shaping Royalty since 1986.

It was an incredible afternoon seeing so many partners in one room, represented by individuals whose connections to Royalty span decades.

The common theme throughout the day was simple:

Trust.

Throughout the celebration, we heard stories, shared memories, and received positive feedback about the impact our team continues to make through the projects we deliver and the relationships we build.

For our project teams and everyone who contributes to our success, thank you. Feedback like this doesn't happen by chance. It is the result of hard work, commitment, accountability, and living our values every day.

We left yesterday feeling incredibly proud, not because of the milestone itself, but because of what it represents: 40 years of trust earned, relationships built, and partnerships that continue to grow.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this milestone and to everyone who has been part of our journey over the past four decades.

Happy 40th Anniversary, Royalty.

DAY 38 – Core Focus

At Royalty, we regularly ask ourselves two simple but powerful questions:

Why do we exist?
What can we do better than anyone else?

When we combine our passion for Building Trust with our proven ability to deliver in complex environments, we define our Core Focus.

Our future is built on the foundation of the past 40 years, with continued growth across retail, corporate, and aviation construction.

We build trust through:

✔ 40 years partnering with Class A clients
✔ 23 years of specialized airport and aviation experience
✔ Values-based relationships
✔ A high-value project delivery model
✔ Developing and empowering a high-performance team

This didn't happen by chance.

It took focus, discipline, resilience, and perseverance.

Today, we're aligned, focused, and building momentum.

This is what we celebrate at 40 years.

And this is what will carry us forward.

Building Partners for Life.

DAY 37 – Looking Ahead: The Construction Outlook

Are we living through the greatest era of technological advancement? Or simply the fastest?

Construction is experiencing an unprecedented convergence of change:

• AI transforming how we work and make decisions
• Digital tools accelerating project delivery
• Supply chains evolving amid global uncertainty
• Talent expectations shifting rapidly

For commercial general contractors, this isn't background noise, it's a signal to adapt.

Over the next five years, companies that embrace change will separate themselves from those that fall behind.

What should forward-thinking contractors be focused on?

1. Data-Driven Ex*****on
Estimating, scheduling, and procurement are becoming increasingly predictive. Real-time data will be a competitive advantage.

2. AI as a Productivity Tool
AI won't replace construction professionals, but teams equipped with AI will outperform those without it.

3. Supply Chain Resilience
Strategic sourcing, early procurement, and strong vendor relationships will continue to matter.

4. Talent Evolution
The next generation expects better technology, clear growth opportunities, and adaptable workplaces.

5. Smarter Building Methods
Prefabrication and modular construction are creating opportunities for greater speed, quality, and cost certainty.

6. Rising Client Expectations
Clients want transparency, responsiveness, and confidence in outcomes. Trust remains the foundation of every successful partnership.

The future will belong to companies that:

✔ Embrace change early
✔ Invest in people and technology
✔ Think beyond the next project

The pace of change isn't slowing down.

How is your organization preparing for the next era of construction?

Day 36 - Building the Next Generation- Foundations First

There is no building analogy used more than the topic of foundations. Centuries of global construction have one thing in common – a structure is only as good is its foundation. As cliché as this sounds, we must take heed to the guidance of our own industry when building a great company.

Foundations provide the bearing capacity for future growth. As goes the foundation, so goes the upper floors. Skip a step, and there is a high probability of rebuilding. Build it right, and sky’s the limit!

The blueprint for Royalty’s foundation, and future, includes the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
EOS provides the design, the formwork, the scaffolding, and the methodology to create a strong foundation for our business. It’s simple, but it’s not easy – just like construction.

The components are as follows:
- Vision- Clearly defined direction, plan & expectations. Values lived by all.
- Data- What we measure. Scorecards and dashboards. Measure what matters.
- Process- Build the system that gets you results. Rinse & repeat. Adjust as required. Be consistent.
- Traction- Setting priorities in 90-day windows. What meetings are required to nail this.
- Issues- Clearly identify issues, then discuss, then solve. Solve. Solve.
- People- Right people on the bus, people in the right seats. Alignment matters.

Combine these components with hard work, discipline, and determination and you have a solid foundation to build for longevity. The Romans must have been using EOS!

For the last 2 years, we have implemented EOS in our business and are consistently working to immerse our team, so we are fully committed and engaged in the system together. Team alignment at this level is unstoppable.

We’ve seen some early positive results, and many lessons learned along the way.
This is how we are building for our future, through focus and adherence to our foundation blueprint.
This should be easy to remember as contractor. But it requires discipline, perseverance, and buy-in.
What does your business blueprint look like?

Day 31 – Aviation-Related Projects: Built on Experience

Aviation continues to grow, modernize, and expand—and Royalty is proud to be part of that journey.

Our experience positions us to support the next generation of aviation facilities across Southern Ontario, from operational buildings and training facilities to airside infrastructure and maintenance environments.

At Toronto Pearson Airport, we've spent more than 23 years working within one of Canada's most complex operational campus. Over that time, we've touched many areas of airport operations and been exposed to a diverse range of capital projects, each with its own unique requirements and challenges.

Hangars. MRO facilities. Training centres. Airside operations buildings.

These are environments where safety, engineering, coordination, and functionality must work together seamlessly.

The experience gained over two decades has helped us develop specialized expertise in aviation-related construction—and continues to shape how we support our partners today.

This is where experience is developed. This is where trust is built.

DAY 35 – Looking Back: The Legacy of 40 Years

They say hindsight is 20/20.

When we look back on 40 years at Royalty, we see more than memories—we see a clear path built through hard work, trust, and lasting relationships.

Only a few team members today witnessed the very beginning in 1986. Many joined during later chapters of our story. But all of us have been part of the progress.

A construction company's reputation isn't built overnight. It's built one estimate at a time, one project at a time, and one relationship at a time.

After 40 years, those moments define who we are.

We are grateful for an incredible first four decades—guided by our founders, strengthened by successive generations of leaders, and shaped by every employee, client, consultant, and trade partner who has contributed to our journey.

Key Milestones Along the Way

1986
• Royalty is founded.

1986–2000
• Focused on retail interiors for clients including Shoppers Drug Mart, TD Canada Trust, Mrs. Field's Cookies, and Magicuts.

2000–2010

• Growth included partnerships with T&T Supermarket, Walmart, Staples, National Bank, FANA, and GTAA.

2010–2020
• Continued expansion of team, services, and project complexity.
• Growth in aviation and retail sectors with clients including Air Canada, WestJet, Porter Airlines, and Canadian Tire.

• Emerged from the pandemic with renewed strength and ambitious growth plans.
• Expanded aviation partnerships to include Bombardier, CAE, Skyservice, CATSA, Air Canada Cargo, and many others.
• Continued specializing in complex, operationally sensitive environments while growing our team and capabilities.

Our view of the past is clear. And our Vision is even clearer.
We look forward to expanding this timeline and journey, setting targets for greater success.

DAY 34 — Project Underway: Wait N’ Rest

Travel can be exciting. Waiting doesn’t have to be uncomfortable.

Royalty General Construction is proud to be delivering Wait N’ Rest at Toronto Pearson International Airport, with locations in Terminal 1 Pre-Security and Terminal 3 Post-Security currently under construction.

Designed to redefine the airport waiting experience, these spaces will provide travelers with a modern environment focused on comfort, convenience, and relaxation. What began as a vision is quickly becoming reality as construction progresses across both terminals.

Working within one of Canada’s busiest airports requires detailed planning, seamless coordination, and ex*****on in an active operating environment—an expertise Royalty has developed through more than two decades of building at YYZ.

We look forward to seeing these unique spaces welcome travelers in the near future.

DAY 33 — Project Underway | Brasa Peruvian Kitchen – Toronto Pearson Terminal 1 Domestic

Great airport experiences extend beyond the gate.

Royalty General Construction is currently delivering the complete interior fit-out of a new Brasa Peruvian Kitchen location within Terminal 1 Domestic at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

From coordination and logistics to construction and finishing details, airport tenant projects demand precision, planning, and ex*****on in highly active environments. Every element must be carefully managed to meet airport authority requirements, tenant standards, and operational constraints—all while keeping the terminal moving.

This project will bring a vibrant new dining experience to passengers travelling through Canada's busiest airport, and we're proud to be part of making it happen.

DAY 32 — Airport Tenant Projects

Behind every great airport experience is a space built to perform.

From restaurants and cafés to premium lounges and retail environments, airport tenant projects require a unique balance of speed, coordination, and precision. Work often happens within active terminals, during limited shutdown windows, and under strict operational requirements.

For more than two decades, Royalty has partnered with airport tenants to deliver spaces that keep travelers moving and businesses operating.

Whether it's food service, retail, passenger amenities, or lounge environments, we understand what it takes to build successfully in one of the most demanding construction environments.

Creating spaces that serve millions of passengers, one project at a time.
