π¦Ί Working at Heights: Why We Require It
At BlueForce Logistics, safety comes first. Working at Heights (WAH) training is required because it protects workers from one of the biggest risks on industrial and construction sites - fall hazards. This training teaches proper harness use, fall-prevention systems, equipment checks, rescue steps, and how to work safely on ladders, lifts, platforms, and elevated structures.
Why itβs important:
β’ Prevents serious injuries and saves lives
β’ Ensures every worker is compliant with Canadian safety standards
β’ Keeps job sites safe and professional
β’ Prepares workers for racking installs, conveyors, welding, maintenance, and industrial work at elevation
Where to get it in Canada:
WAH certification is available through approved safety training centres, including provincial safety associations, trade schools, and recognized private trainers. Every province has certified providers - including Ontario CPO-approved training, Alberta fall-protection courses, and BCβs WorkSafeBC-recognized programs.
If you work at heights, you must be trained, certified, and ready.
Safety isnβt optional β-itβs part of the job.
