Framing progress update from Powell River.
Our team is advancing the structure on the Tis’kwat Apartment—a 30-unit, three-storey wood-frame affordable rental project on Tla’amin Nation’s historic village site. Sheathing and floor decks are moving quickly, with the crew maintaining strong safety practices while working at height overlooking the water.
Grateful for the partnership with Tla’amin Nation, Luma Native Housing Society, BC Housing, and Urban Arts Architecture. Projects like this are why we show up every day.

Last week we kicked things off strong, hauling out an average of 1,200 cubic yards per day. Grateful for the solid weather this time of year - it’s making a big difference on site.

Construction has officially started on the Tis’kwat apartment project in Powell River.
Foundation formwork kicked off this morning at 5903 Arbutus Avenue. This three-storey development on Tla’amin Nation’s historic village site tiskʷat will deliver 30 two- and three-bedroom rental units.
