🌧 Heavy Rainfall is on the Way! 🌧
With all the rain in the forecast, now’s the time to make sure your sump pump is ready to handle it! 💧

✅ Check that it’s plugged in and running properly — pour a bucket of water into the pit to make sure it kicks on.
✅ Inspect your discharge line to be sure it’s clear of debris and pointed away from your home.
✅ Have a backup plan — a battery backup or generator can save you from a flooded basement if the power goes out.
✅ Listen for odd noises or a pump that runs constantly — that’s a sign it may need service.

If you notice anything off, give Gillis Heating a call before the storm hits, we’re here to help keep your home dry and safe!
