Beauty steel roof going on the house we built in haliburton yesterday. Man that galvanized is hard to look at on a sunny day! Bring shades! But from the ground it looks awesome! Changes colour from what angle your on! Some angles it looks green from the trees, Some angles it looks sky blue and some a nice silver. More to come on this house soon!

Beautiful shop we built for another awesome customer in apsley. This is a dream garage! 56x36 with 3 12 foot wide by 12 foot tall doors and another 8 foot wide by ten feet tall plus a man door. Will have 2 washrooms. A loft in one section with an elevator to move people and toys up to it. Bunk beds all along one wall and wall projector tv to broadcast the game or movies for the kids. It’s going to be amazing and we’ll be back to build their house right behind the shop-mahal as I call it haha

Here’s a house we built awhile ago up in Halliburton for a customer who drew his own building plans and helped us build it all. Normally we charge extra if the customer wants to help but ken has been a blast to work with and has become a friend. We will be back there soon to do his steel roof steel on order now from our friends at Shield's Home Hardware in coboconk. Then we will be back to do a one of a kind interior using all live edge slabs from our sawmill. All cabinets, counter top and island will be live edge slabs from trees we drop, mill, finish and install. Pictures to come!

Flood levels are still high and we are still sand bagging in the minden area. Had a customer send me a photo of a dock I built last summer using the dock on a rock anchor system. The dock is fully submerged but remains solid and unaffected by the ice flow.

Well today and yesterday we spent up in minden sandbagging houses and helping fight the flooding and I’m asking if anyone is somewhat close the area please help volunteer as 2013 water levels are now expected. Lots more water is coming and they need the help even if all you can do it tie the sandbags closed that is a huge help! Shovels trucks strong backs and people to tie bags are needed in minden. They have set up at the curling club filling bags. Stay dry everyone!
