This panel relief cut carving can be mounted in a door/gate, fence or just left standing as a statement piece for your garden.
Standing at 5.6ft x 3ft x 6in, finished with Australian timber oil will give it years before it needs a touch up, very simple to do for DIY person.

Well he is all done and ready for pick up.
This Big Bear is going on a long journey starting with Indigenous cultural and celebration month. On the journey he will meet lots of new friends along to way so if you see him we would love to see you pic's.

He will start in mississauga for Indigenous month celebration with Mississaugas of the credit first nation, metis , Indigenous cultural center, city of Mississauga, Sawmill Sid Inc.
While there buring June he will tour local markets, pow wows and other events then all a cross Ontario Canada for summer 2024.

I will try to follow and post his journey all this summer to show his travels and new friends.

Colour looking good! Went with the winner of the poll... natural finsh and darker high ligthts.

Well all done carving......now just to finish sanding when there is NO f'n wind.
Now just have to figure out what I should do for finish, stain or leave o'natural. Will be using aussie timber oil for this one as it is a outdoor carving and needs to stand up to the Canadian weather.

Sunday sneak peek 👀Now he's dry I can start working on him again. Not always a quick carve, Briggs has been drying since March and will need a couple more months.
