So much to be thankful for. 🙏🍂

Sometimes, a quiet moment on the back of the truck is all it takes to reflect on the blessings in your life.

This Thanksgiving, I thank God for His mercy, His guidance and everything He continues to do for me.

For my wife and my children. For the blessing of working beside my son. For good friends, and for every client who has trusted our family with their home.

To everyone who has supported Silva Taping & Drywall, recommended our work or welcomed us into their lives—thank you. We’re grateful for you.

From our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving. May your homes be filled with love, peace and gratitude. ❤️🇨🇦

Thank you, Jesus, for everything.

NORMALIZE POSTING THE PROGRESS. 💪

The finished bathroom gets the attention. The work that gets it there deserves a little spotlight, too.

Here’s a look at our bathroom project in Vaughan—from the early stages to a shower taking shape with marble-look tile, a recessed niche and a hexagon tile floor. 🛁

It’s still a work in progress. The final slide offers a visualization of where it could go.

At Silva Taping & Drywall, we put God first in everything we do. For us, that means showing up, working honestly and treating your home with care through every stage.

Your bathroom could be next.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ TESTIMONIAL TUESDAY

Some choices cost more later.

This homeowner was left with an unfinished renovation after another contractor walked away from the project. Damaged concrete, incomplete flooring and unfinished rooms were only part of what needed to be corrected.

That’s when Silva Taping & Drywall took over.

Our team completed the concrete repairs, flooring, baseboards, drywall, taping, painting and bathroom work required to bring this home across the finish line properly.

The first slide shows the choice.
The second slide shows what that choice means to our client. ❤️

A low price may look attractive at the beginning, but proper workmanship, honest communication and pride in the finished result will always provide greater value.

If your renovation has stalled—or you simply want it completed properly the first time—Silva Taping & Drywall is ready to help.

📩 Send us a DM to discuss your next home, basement or bathroom renovation.

Some projects need finishing. This one needed rescuing.

This homeowner was left high and dry when another contractor walked away from the job, leaving behind damaged concrete, unfinished flooring, incomplete drywall and a bathroom that still needed serious work.

Unfortunately, we see this far too often in our trade. The lowest quote can quickly become the highest cost when the work is unfinished—or nobody returns to finish it.

That’s when Silva Taping & Drywall took over.

Our team stepped in to complete the concrete repairs, flooring, baseboards, drywall, taping, painting and bathroom renovation—the whole nine yards.

From an abandoned project to a finished home the client can finally enjoy, we stayed until the work was done properly.

The client is happy. We’re happy. And if you ever find yourself left behind in the middle of a renovation, remember:

We were right here all along.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
— Galatians 6:2

At Silva Taping & Drywall, we don’t leave people—or projects—behind.

In God We Trust.

THE FLOORING COMES FIRST. 😂💍

On your wedding day, most people are checking the time, fixing their tie and trying not to forget the rings.

Sam?

Sam was still installing flooring.

So Romildo did what any father would do… showed up at the jobsite with the dress shirt and reminded his son that HE WAS GETTING MARRIED.

What follows is probably the most Silva conversation possible:
The job isn’t finished.
The flooring matters.
You need a good foundation.
And apparently that applies to marriage too. 😂

But underneath all the jokes, there’s something pretty special here.

A father picking up his son from work.
Driving him home.
Getting him ready.
Watching him walk out the door as a groom.

One minute he’s on his knees installing a floor.

The next, he steps out of that truck dressed for one of the biggest days of his life.

And maybe Sam had a point after all…

Everything worth building needs a strong foundation.

Congratulations to Sam & Nicole Pereira Da Silva 🤍 on the beginning of their life together. May your marriage be built on faith, love, patience, laughter — and apparently properly installed flooring. ❤️🙏

“Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” — Mark 10:9

From all of us at Silva Taping & Drywall, congratulations to the newlyweds.

RESTORING HISTORY

In Bond Head, Silva Taping & Drywall is proud to be part of a complete home renovation with real history behind it.

This historic home, said to have once housed British soldiers, is now entering its next chapter — and our team is helping bring it back to life from the inside out.

From mixing mud to boarding, taping, sanding, and finishing, every stage matters. In a home like this, the work is more than drywall — it’s about respecting what came before while building toward what comes next.

More to come as we continue bringing this project toward the finish line.
