Golden Alexander ( Zizia aurea) is a plant powerhouse ! Great for pollinators ( including the Black Swallowtail and Ozark Swallowtail). It acts as a natural pest control for aphids and mites attracting ladybugs , hover flies and beneficial wasps . Thriving in sun and shade it is a great low maintenance plant to add in you garden ( even your rain garden !)

We had a little visitor today ! The Red-Backed Salamander . This hardy woodland creature lives under rocks, bark and other debris in forested areas of Eastern North America . FUN FACT! This particular species is lungless and breathes through its skin , which means it needs to live in damp environments .

Our team works hard to help you keep your property under control including invasive species like Buckthorn . The ideal treatment is to cut it down to about a foot and then apply a sponging method as to reduce any harm to surrounding plants . Thanks to help from our friends

Did you know we help with invasive plant removal! Our team went out and helped one of our clients deal with their invasive Buckthorn tree. The best control for this is to cut it down to a foot and then use a sponging method in order to not affect any of the other plants .
