243 dahlia tubers later… 😅
Divided, sorted, cleaned up and finally getting tucked away for winter.

Dividing into 243 tubers was quite the chore 😂 But it’s also pretty cool seeing the collection grow the past few years!

And of course… I’ll be adding even more varieties to the collection next season. Because apparently I don’t have enough. 🤷🏼‍♀️
I have a wishlist in my phone notes app. It’s absurdly long.

Playing around with the camera and our last giveaway arrangement! 🌸

It’s been busy over here behind the scenes! I’ve been deep in the dahlia tuber trenches. 😅 We’ve dug up a lot of dahlia tuber clumps and now I’m working my way through cleaning, dividing and eventually getting them all stored away for winter.

I’m also hoping to collect some flower seeds before the season is officially done because apparently I haven’t had enough things to do yet. 😏😂

The flowers that are left are definitely looking a little tired and sad these days, but there’s still lots happening around here as we slowly wrap up this season and start getting ready for the next one !

Tomorrow is our LAST market of the season! 🌸

Come find us at the Leduc Farmers Market from 10–1:30 for one final flower-filled day! Leduc Farmers Market

I’ll still be offering custom bouquet orders so if that interests you send me a DM, text or email to order 🌸

After tomorrow, I’ll be letting some of our flowers go to seed so I can collect and save as much seed as possible with the hope of offering locally grown seeds and dahlia tubers in the future 👀 Keep an eye out for that! 😉

Then it’s time to start winding things down, prep for next season, dream up even more flowers, plant some fall perennials and enjoy some slower fall days with our little one. 🍂

I can’t believe the season is already coming to an end. It really was fast and furious.

These beauties will be making their way into bouquets at the Leduc Farmers Market tomorrow from 10–1:30pm! 💐

Finally harvesting buckets full of these single petal dahlias! These were all grown from tubers and seeds I collected and saved last year!
Clearly, I have become a bit obsessed with dahlias this season.

Safe to say I’ll be investing in way more varieties next season… especially more ball and lotus dahlias! My wish list has become a bit of a problem. 😏

It’s going to be a hot evening at the Beaumont Alberta Farmers Market and flower season is almost over! 💐

Come grab some fresh flowers, locally grown fruit and veggies and homemade goodies. Come shop local, listen to some live music and soak up some of the last little bits of summer! ☀️

The final markets of the season! 🌸

August flew by and I only have a few markets left before I switch gears for the season into saving seeds, digging & storing dahlia tubers and getting everything prepped for next growing season. 🌱

Come see me tomorrow night at the Beaumont Farmers’ Market from 5–8 PM! I’ll have lots of locally grown blooms to take home. 💐
