Dear MPDBA Members,
We are reaching out to you today with an urgent and desperate plea for a family in our community.
Recently, a local family with young children suffered a catastrophic house fire. While we are incredibly relieved to report that everyone is safe, the family was forced to flee in the middle of the night and have lost absolutely everything.
Right now, their most critical need is a safe place to land.
We are urgently seeking a rental unit in the Penetang area for this family. Because of the children's school registration, we are desperately trying to help them secure a home before Labour Day so these kids can have some stability before the school year begins.
This is where we need your help.
As members of the MPDBA, you are deeply connected to the housing, building, and property management networks in our region. We are asking you to dig deep into your contacts:
Do you know a landlord with an upcoming vacancy?
Do you have a colleague or client who might have a rental property, an empty second home, or a temporary housing solution?
Can you forward this email to property managers in your network?
Please reach out to anyone and everyone who might be able to help this family secure housing for the fall. It takes a village, and this family needs ours right now.
