Jochen and I had a grand time outside of Jasper setting up a Robot assisted Log house for the Morin family
A big shout-out to Mark Deagle Log Homes who hosted and assisted. Mark and Rahel made us feel at home -even letting me abuse the kitchen with the evening meal (largely preprepared by Ingrid)
I've been missing the Log Builder's Association meetings where I first met Mark and Travis.
Darrell Stotski and Dan had a perfect foundation ready and assisted with the log set.
The boys at Hy-line crane were exceptional!
The Ballmer Systems technology is quite extraordinary.
On to the next projects

UPDATE from the Hinton Reset. John says. "After a tough couple of days getting trucks and logs into the site we are making great progress, The fits are amazing!"

Our unique "Advantage Panel" Style Piece-en-Piece was cut using ABBy the Log Building Robot using proprietary software and patented robotic process by Ballmer Systems Inc.
Upon completion the building will be chinked evoking the traditional beauty of vintage dove-tail buildings but posted at the corners.

Help Wanted: Bookkeeper/Office Administrator

Our office administrator/bookkeeper is retiring and we are searching for the next great person to join our team at Nicola LogWorks.
Hours are flexible with basic duties taking about 2 days a week. Want more hours? Ideally the successful candidate has a keen interest in database, reports generation and systems development as well as solid computer skills. They have an eye for procedure improvements and the drive to implement them.
Like to work outside as well? There may be an opportunity for occasional hands on light work with the logbuilding team if that is an area of interest.

Got other skills or interests you'd like to use? There may be an opportunity to use them at Nicola LogWorks.
