Some people criticized my post a few days ago about trading work for a π, and knowledge.
I have never been an asker, I just do for myself, however, I also believe that if you don't ask, you're never going to receive, and possibly miss out on amazing opportunities.
I had a reply to my post that led me to take a drive out to Wayfinder Farm where I got the chance to meet someone who might actually be more into nature than I am, we speak at the same speed, and love using pallets to build what we need. π
I got to take a walk through some of their trails where I was amazed at all the life living in their woods, I saw so many types of fungi growing everywhere, and also got to meet the sweetest young π ironically named Joey, and he also has the same nickname a friends father calls me as well. I never met a horse so calm to a stranger approaching it in my life, he just wanted attention, and a kiss boop on the shnoot. I have rarely been able to touch a horse but twice before in my life, and it was amazing getting to kiss one on the shnoot making me want one more than ever, it's just too bad I can't have that one cause it was instant love.
Either way, I will get to see Joey again, as I felt comfortable there, they need some help, and I need the mental release of doing the type of fall work that I love doing.
I think this could be the start of an awesome friendship with like minded people, and a great way for me to learn horse language before they help me get my own horse down the road.
