Efficient Low-E coatings = increased calls about condensation on the exterior glass surface (especially with all the heat and humidity we have had this summer). High-performance sealed units minimize heat transfer through the glass. So... the exterior glass remains cooler, making condensation more likely. Though it may be seen as a nuisance, exterior condensation is actually a sign of superior insulation and thermal performance and is not a cause for concern!

Please note that this is not to be confused with condensation on the inside of your home or between the panes of glass. Check out our condensation guide to troubleshoot:

In honor of National Hug Your Cat Day, we would like to introduce Rudy, our beloved rescue shop cat. When we found him he needed considerable medical care and nutrition due to his emaciated condition, but Rudy has since become both chubby and demanding. Rudy has won our hearts and established himself as a cherished family member (and King of the castle) taking it upon himself to greet everyone as he sees fit.

25 years ago, we traded farming in Lang for windows! Blair and Debbie are still with us from that original 2001 crew, and our son Avery—who was just 2 years old then—is now our installation foreman.

So much has changed over the years, but our commitment to quality remains the same. We look ahead to the future with the same faith and grit that started it all—after one broken window while custom combining changed the course of our lives!
