It was important to us to become a certified plant years ago and to maintain the certification.
The Standard Behind Every Certified Plant
Certification isn’t defined by the inspection you pass, it’s defined by the standards you maintain every day.
The Concrete Sask Plant Certification Program recognizes ready mixed concrete plants that have demonstrated they possess the equipment, quality control practices, documentation, and procedures necessary to consistently produce concrete capable of meeting CSA requirements.
But certification doesn’t end once the inspection is complete.
Maintaining certification requires ongoing equipment calibration, proper aggregate management, accurate batching, routine moisture monitoring, quality control, and complete documentation. It’s a commitment that continues every day a plant is in operation.
Whether operating year-round or seasonally, certified plants work to maintain these standards to ensure every batch is produced with consistency, accuracy, and confidence.
Plant Certification doesn’t certify the concrete, it certifies the plant’s capability to produce concrete in accordance with CSA standards.
Producing quality concrete requires consistent standards every day.
