we repaired a dock last week that got mangled in one of the recent storms. a small section was torn off and most tie up rails were destroyed. even if your dock is in a relatively protected bay, it’s always good to plan on moving your vessel to a marina or onto land when severe weather rolls through. 🐙🙌🐙

we’re slowly but surely getting ready for our 2025 marine season and our schedule is filling up fast this year.

we’ve got some big projects coming up, but we’re also offering “Early Bird Rates” to make sure every buoy & dock we service is looked after in time for the warm months, the long weekends and all the boating fun you’ve been waiting for this past winter!

Give us a call, send a text or email and let’s work together to ensure all your aquatic equipment is safe & sound!

rescue mission a couple of days ago after S/V Peanut ⛵️started to embark on a “solo trip” without knowledge of its owner. The Coast Guard caught Peanut and tied it to a mooring ball across the Long Harbour Ferry Terminal on Saltspring Island. We searched for and found the buoy it’s usually on, but rope was twisted, tangled and mangled around itself, the anchor block and the swivel had sheared off. Bottom Line 😝 of the story: don’t expect your tackle to be solid & safe at all times, especially when it hasn’t been serviced in 2+ years. The ocean movements, currents, tides & winds never sleep, but you can rest assured if you follow a regular maintenance schedule. 🚧⚓️🐙

brand new, 40 feet long, as heavily built as it can get and finished with fancy fibreglass mini-mesh for sunlight to get through to help the marine plants below grow. this project is one of our biggest so far and we had to work hard to overcome the challenges attached to a job of this size. thanks to our invaluable for being „Ground Crew“ helping us ( & ) with his heavy duty lifting and trucking skills! 🏝️🙌🏝️
