Say hello to Julia Boychuk, our newest team member, who has just begun her third week with The Reset Team as a Merchandiser. Originally from Estonia, Julia brings a fresh perspective along with a calm, focused approach to her work.

When asked what she has enjoyed most so far, Julia shared that she appreciates the opportunity to put her skills to good use and looks forward to discovering more as she settles into her role.

Outside of work, Julia describes herself as an introvert who enjoys spending time with a good book and continuously expanding her knowledge. Her ideal way to unwind after a shift is simple—relaxing and spending quality time with her dogs.
A fun fact her coworkers may not expect: Julia can’t whistle—at all.

If she had a theme song for walking onto a job site, it would be “Twilight Zone” by Golden Earring, reflecting a touch of mystery in her personality.

One piece of advice Julia lives by: “The world will not treat you better just because you are a good person.” A thoughtful and grounded perspective she carries into both her work and daily life.

Originally from Calgary and raised in BC's Okanagan Valley, Kate is our new easygoing and optimistic team member. She’s quickly adapted over the past month, valuing the job's variety, teamwork, and growth opportunities.

Kate keeps her approach simple: stay present and avoid overthinking. Her calm, steady philosophy, both on and off the job, is captured in her favourite line from an Eagles song: "Take it easy, don’t let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy."

Here's a fun fact that might surprise you: Kate once had all of John Mulaney’s stand-up specials memorized. So, if you hear a perfectly timed joke on site, it's likely a well-practiced delivery!

Get to Know Dennis Binning: Our Multi-Talented Merchandiser

Hailing from Saskatoon, Dennis Binning officially joined The Reset Team (TRT) on January 11, 2026, and has quickly become an essential and valued member of the crew.

Dennis's enthusiasm shines when he talks about his favourite parts of TRT: the ongoing opportunity to learn new skills and the pleasure of working with a genuinely great team. For someone who thrives on personal growth and positive energy, it's the perfect match.

When he's not busy making retail displays look incredible, Dennis leads a highly creative life. He's a true "renaissance human," spending his time playing the drums, sketching, designing apps and websites, soaking up music and movies, or exploring the great outdoors through camping, fishing, and traveling.

After a productive shift, Dennis keeps it simple: he unwinds with a hot cup of peppermint tea and his favourite playlist.

For anyone new to TRT, Dennis offers this piece of wise prairie advice: "Hang in there, be patient - it gets better." It's the encouraging perspective of someone who knows the challenges and the rewarding view that comes with them.

Keep an eye on Dennis! While he’s elevating our retail spaces now, he holds a quiet but strong ambition to launch his own business one day. Future entrepreneur energy is definitely at play here.

Today, we are excited to highlight a true veteran of the TRT team, Thomas Krebs, who has been with us since 2014 as one of our Site Supervisors. With a personality as dynamic as our daily challenges, Thomas infuses a mix of sarcasm, adventure, and wisdom into his role.

Originally from Scarborough, ON, Thomas appreciates the variety that TRT offers. He shares, "It's never the same thing day in and day out. Always a new challenge to deal with." This mindset keeps our team adaptable and prepared for anything.

Outside of supervising sites, Thomas indulges in his passions—rugby and scuba diving. He even spent a week swimming with sharks in the Galapagos! Interestingly, he reveals, "That I am capable of not being sarcastic sometimes... or that English is my second language."

After a long day, Thomas enjoys cooking or watching a rugby match. His motto is simple: "If you are not having fun, you are doing it wrong." We couldn't agree more—keep that energy on site, Thomas!

If Thomas were to enter a job site with theme music, it would be either "Entry of the Gladiators" by Julius Fučík or the "Top Gun" theme, perfectly fitting for a supervisor always ready for action.

For newcomers to the Reset Team, Thomas offers valuable advice: "Ask questions, no matter how silly they seem."
