After a major rainstorm flooded this homeowner’s basement, they decided it was time for better protection.

Our team installed a brand-new sump pump, pit and battery backup system to help protect their home from future flooding - even during a power outage!

Because protecting your basement BEFORE the next storm beats cleaning up AFTER it!

It was just 3°C In Toronto - That means that Winter is Coming!

We’re not at freezing temperatures just yet, but it won’t be long before vulnerable pipes are at risk of freezing - and potentially bursting!

The good news? A little prevention now can save you from a BIG plumbing headache later.

- Have your plumbing inspected
- Check outdoor faucets and exposed pipes
- Identify potential problems before temperatures drop

We can help you get ahead of winter with a preventative plumbing inspection and assessment!

Don't wait for a frozen pipe to become an emergency!

We put our name on it because we stand by it.

At Preferred Plumbing Solutions, we’re not interested in temporary patches or quick fixes that leave you dealing with the same problem again.

We take the time to find the real cause, explain what’s happening and provide a solution designed to last.

Because when our name is on the work, we want you to know it was done properly - and that we stand behind it.

That’s the Preferred Plumbing way!

Please take a moment to watch this message as we remember those who lost their lives, those who continue to mourn, and all those forever affected by the events of October 7.

Today is not about left or right. It is about humanity, compassion, and remembering the value of every human life.

May we never lose sight of our shared responsibility to look out for one another, even when we disagree.

We remember. We pray for the families. And we look toward brighter days ahead.

October is here… and while we’re not at freezing temperatures YET, now is the time to start thinking about your outdoor hose faucets!

Once temperatures start dropping below freezing, any water left inside an outdoor faucet or connected hose can freeze, expand and potentially lead to damaged pipes and a much bigger headache.

A little preventative maintenance now can go a long way:
• Disconnect your garden hoses
• Check outdoor faucets for leaks or drips
• Make sure exterior plumbing is properly winterized before freezing weather arrives
• If something doesn’t look right, get it checked before winter

Don’t wait for the first freeze to start thinking about it.

October is the perfect time to get ahead of winter - because when it comes to your plumbing, prevention is always better than an emergency repair.

Who is Preferred Plumbing Solutions?

What started with humble beginnings back in 2004 has grown into a team we’re incredibly proud of - serving homeowners throughout York Region and the GTA with the same values we started with.

Over the years, the team has grown. The trucks have multiplied. The jobs have gotten bigger. But our commitment has stayed the same: do great work, treat people right and give homeowners plumbing solutions they can trust.

We’re proud of where we started, grateful for every customer who helped us get here, and excited for what comes next.

More than 20 years later, we’re just getting started!

This is Preferred Plumbing Solutions.

REPOST - because this one is TOO GOOD not to share again!

Think your kitchen drain is clean just because the water is going down? Think again!

Over time, grease, food debris and organic waste can build up along the inside of your drain pipes, making that opening smaller and smaller - until eventually, you’ve got a major backup.

Check out the video to see why we recommend power jetting for clogged kitchen drains.

Even away from home, we’re still helping customers with their plumbing problems!

This customer was dealing with an unpleasant sewer smell under the sink, and we quickly found the issue - there was no proper P-trap.

A P-trap maintains a water seal that helps prevent sewer gases from entering the home. So we made some room, reconfigured the piping and installed it properly.

Different city. Same standards. Plumbing done right.
