Mark Thompson is the Vice-President of Operations Civil Division, overseeing the management and coordination of daily construction operations. With more than three decades of experience in the construction industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. A graduate of Ryerson Polytechnic Institute’s Civil Engineering Technology program in 1985, and later achieved the Gold Seal Certification from the Canadian Construction Association in 1998, further solidifying his expertise and commitment to the industry.

Alfredo Maggio is the President of the Civil Division, has been in the industry since 1998. With his 30 years of experience, he has held a variety of roles, ranging from field engineer to vice president and general manager. He has also served as a director of the Ontario Road Builders’ Association (ORBA) since 2002, including a term as president in 2011. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Civil Engineering program and has been a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario since 1997.

Construction Limited ("Graham"), a leader since 1959 in the infrastructure sector, including roads, new bridges and restoration, culverts, sewer and watermain services, asphalt, curbs, sidewalks and snow removal. Tony Lima added that this strategic acquisition marks an exciting milestone Limen, unlocking new opportunities for growth and innovation. By integrating Graham's specialized infrastructure services with Limen's construction expertise, the acquisition will enhance Limen's ability to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end solutions to clients. Limen will be uniquely positioned to take on larger, more complex projects, further solidifying their leadership in the industry.

Limen Formwork Division Supervisor Day
A full house at our annual supervisor meeting for our formwork division in Toronto last weekend. The day was focused on Health and Safety where our safety team emphasized the importance of properly assessing risks on site and practicing a collaborative approach between engineering, project management, site supervisors and our field crews, which is a pillar of Limen’s Health and Safety Program.
Safety is everyone’s responsibility at Limen at every stage of construction and we empower our employees to plan work safely and efficiently and not to accept unsafe work. Limen prioritizes both mental and physical well-being throughout our entire organization to ensure everyone goes home safely at the end of every day.
Thank you to Manny Quadros, John McKinnon, Christian Dover, Joe Lima and Tony Lima for organizing an incredible day full of learning and speaking about safety initiatives throughout the company.

Financial Recognition Award From The New Financing Team.

65 King Street East

It was heritage buildings dating back to the 1850s. The project required the heritage façade to be retained over years to accommodate the new 18-storey Google headquarter building. The project exemplified that historic preservation could be cohesively blended with new buildings. The restoration work included the preservation of the heritage fabric by restoring and cleaning all masonry, restoration of wood and stain glass elements, structural upgrades, providing new roofs, dormers, and windows to mimic existing conditions, and supplying new store fronts.
