We are growing our infrared asphalt repair team in Markham. We’re looking for either:
- An **experienced crew lead** who can take ownership of a small infrared patching crew, or
- A **solid asphalt worker** who wants a clear, fast path to running their own crew.
You’ll start on our main infrared repair crew and, if you already have the skills, quickly move into leading jobs and people.
# # # What You’ll Do
- Complete **infrared asphalt repairs**: prep, heat, rake, and finish patches
- Operate and/or oversee operation of:
- Rollers and skid steers
- Hotbox, infrared unit, and crack seal machines
- Organize daily work: truck loaded, site set up, materials ready
- Keep jobs on pace: target of **13+ infrared patches per day** in season
- Enforce safety and quality standards on every job
- (For lead‑level hires) Direct 1–2 crew members and communicate with the office / clients on site
# # # What We’re Looking For
- **2+ years** asphalt or construction experience preferred
- Will train the right hard‑working candidate with less experience
- Experience raking asphalt, running small equipment, and working outdoors all day
- Organized, disciplined, and motivated to improve a little every day
- Takes safety seriously and can follow (and eventually give) clear directions
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to Markham
# # # Pay & Growth
- Full‑time, Monday to Friday, **40–45 hours/week**, some Saturdays in peak season
- **Hourly pay based on role and experience**:
- Overtime as required
- Clear path from **Senior Crew Member → Crew Lead** as you show you can run jobs without hand‑holding
