It’s and we are one week out from the Early Bird deadline for Future of Work.

These mechanical skids, complete with tanks and PRV trees, are in the home stretch and heading to site soon. We have brought skids like this into the event space before because they tell the story better than any slide deck: plan it, build it in the shop, ship it install ready, and keep the field moving.

If you want to see how we deliver work like this at scale, grab your Early Bird ticket before they’re gone! Link to tickets in our bio.

Special thanks to those who have already grabbed their tickets! Let us know if you will be there.

Oakridge District Energy Utility is nearing completion.

This video flips between the BIM fly through and the installed condition. It shows the reality of this scope: tight spaces, constant sequencing, and no room to miss.

Our PMP site team has handled this job with discipline and pride, supported by strong trade partners throughout. We are proud of how this has come together, and proud to put our name on it.

Women in Construction Week recognizes the impact women make across construction, and the work still needed to grow opportunity in our industry.

This collage is a snapshot of the women on the PMP team, in the office, the shop, and on site. You keep projects moving, lead by example, and make our whole team stronger.

Proud to build iconic projects with all of you.

Industrialized Construction starts here.

Our carbon shop turns mild steel into install ready supports, frames, and assemblies with greater efficiency than ever.

We have put in the work to increase production through better flow, smarter sequencing, and less rework, and we are proud of the team that delivers every day.

This is how we are redefining the future of mechanical construction.

Alexandra Desautels, CPA, MBA joined Pitt Meadows Plumbing in the winter of 2017, bringing experience from both public and private accounting. Since then, she has become one of the steady forces behind our growth, the kind of leader who makes complex work feel clear and keeps the team moving in the right direction.

In 2022, Alexandra was promoted to Financial Controller. In July 2023, she stepped into her current role as Director of Finance and Accounting as part of our Management Committee leadership restructuring. Today, she leads our Finance and Accounting team of six, overseeing everything from day to day accounting operations to the big picture financial stewardship that supports our projects and our people.

We are proud to share that Alexandra has officially completed her MBA at Ivey Business School, and she did it in true Alexandra fashion: graduating with distinction and earning a spot on the Dean’s Honour List. Her graduation ceremony is still to come, and she will be travelling to Toronto to celebrate in person.

We are also proud to share that Alexandra joined the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation Board of Directors last fall, extending her leadership beyond our walls and into the community we care about.

With Women in Construction Week coming up next week, this feels like the right moment to say it plainly: great projects are built in the field, but they are protected and powered by strong leadership behind the scenes too. Solid accounting keeps crews moving, partners paid, and decisions grounded in reality. Alexandra leads in a way that strengthens both our business and our team.

Congratulations, Alexandra. We are proud of you, and grateful you lead with us.

Calgary, we are excited to be here!

Pitt Meadows Plumbing is officially working in Alberta, and our first project in the city is Palliser One with EllisDon, an office tower conversion bringing new homes to downtown.

We are also excited to be partnering with Centurion Mechanical on Palliser, as well as future work. We are here to build strong relationships and deliver great work. This is what we value most: early coordination, shared lessons, solving problems early, and backing each other up to get it done right.

New Project Announcement!

Pitt Meadows Plumbing has been awarded the mechanical contract for the Clinical Support and Research Centre with PCL Construction.

We have long been advocates for healthcare because it impacts our people and the communities we build in. It is also why we have supported hospital foundations over the years. We believe in strengthening healthcare infrastructure across British Columbia, and we are proud to contribute through the work we do.

This project is a clear reflection of our mission. We build industry leading teams to help deliver spaces that are iconic in what they enable. The Clinical Support and Research Centre is being built as a hub for research, clinical support, and innovation, bringing the right people together to accelerate breakthroughs into real world care.

The job is not simply to reach turnover. The job is to deliver mechanical infrastructure the people inside can rely on every day, built with care, commissioned properly, and built to last.

Our team is ready to get started.

Thank you to PCL and our project partners for the opportunity and the trust.

Build Canada Homes is asking industry to weigh in on modern methods of construction. We welcome it this opportunity and invite the industry at large to participate.

At Pitt Meadows Plumbing, MMC is not a trend. It’s how we deliver. We industrialize mechanical scope through planning, prefabrication, QA, and install ready ex*****on because the outcome is better: safer work, tighter schedules, consistent quality, and fewer surprises.

It’s Family Day weekend. Families deserve affordable housing that is delivered faster, without cutting corners. Scaling housing in Canada will require modern methods, but also modern collaboration and procurement that rewards certainty, quality, and performance.

Reminder: Future of Work tickets go on sale February 17. If you want to see what this looks like in practice, join us.

Tumbler Ridge, and the rest of Canada, is hurting.

Yesterday’s tragedy is heartbreaking. Our thoughts are with the families, first responders, and everyone in the community carrying the weight of this loss.

A few decades ago, when our team was still very small, we worked in Tumbler Ridge on one of our earliest jobs alongside our friend Les from Glenco. We still remember the realities of those early days, including last minute parts that had to be flown from YVR to Dawson Creek before making their way to site. It’s a place that has stayed with us, and this hits close to home.

We will be making a donation to support the victims and families impacted by this tragedy.

We are holding Tumbler Ridge close today.
