We're thrilled to share one of our latest projects, showcasing how a standard elevator cab can be transformed into a seamless feature of any home! This recent installation, designed by the talented architects at Battersby Howat, is a perfect blend of functionality and style.

We are pleased to announce the successful installation of what we believe to be the first-ever Elvoron CPL with a Glass Cab at Tugboat Annie's Pub in Richmond. We were brought in to replace the existing glass lift with a new lift.

Our talented design team in Surrey collaborated closely with our Sales, Project Management, and Installation teams to ensure the success of this custom project. This unique accessibility lift maintains both the aesthetic and functionality in the space.

Last week Garaventa Lift BC exhibited at the 2024 Educational Facilities Managers Association Conference at the Penticton Trade and Convention Center.

This is one of our favourite events of the year.

This year's vendors' night was themed as 'The Great Outdoors' and our sales consultants pulled out the duct tape and transformed into Red and Harold Green for a night. If they didn't find us handsome, we hope they at least found us handy.

Since 1964, the Educational Facility Managers from school districts around B.C. have been meeting to network, attend workshops, provide support to one another and share ideas. Members come from all over the province with the common goal of maintaining a high standard of professional knowledge, skill, inclusivity and safety.
Garaventa Lift BC has maintained a presence at this conference since 1985.

We're already looking forward to next year!

Garaventa Lift BC has submitted two beautiful projects for the 2024 Elevator World Photo Contest. Voting takes place until June 14th of Elevator World's website.
The first project is a recently installed over Elvoron Home Elevator in Point Grey. This elevator features custom woodworking on the cab walls and ceiling as well as a custom hidden hinge door that allows the elevator to blend seamlessly into the home as well as be CSA B44 Elevator Safety Code Compliant. We will post more photos of this beautiful project in the near future.
The second project is a Genesis Enclosure Vertical Platform Lift installed at Science World that we have profiled in the past. This lift is in the Omnimax and allows people with mobility challenges full enjoyment of the theatre. This is one of two accessibility lifts Garaventa Lift BC has installed at Science World.

Built by our then parent company Garaventa/Dopplmeyer in the 70’s, The Red Grouse Mountain sky ride is a major tourist attraction in Metro Vancouver.
