Real granite. Real masonry. Built to outlast the house it sits beside. The wall in this video is solid natural stone, set by hand, joint by joint, in the middle of the bush where every rock had to be carried in.

We get asked all the time: fire pit or fireplace?

A fire pit's a bit cheaper, quicker, and everybody can sit around it—and that's the appeal, and I get it. But you're sitting in whatever the weather's doing that night, and out here, it's usually rain.

A fireplace has a back and a chimney, so the smoke goes up instead of in your face. Plus, you can put a roof over it.

So, a fire pit if you're on a budget and it's mostly a summer thing. A fireplace if you want to use the space all year round—and out here, that's the whole point.

Send us a message and we'll show you both."

The #1 rule before hiring a contractor: Don’t look at what they finished last week—look at what they built 5 years ago. 🧱

Anybody can make a project look fresh the day it’s done. The real test is how it holds up after years of weather, wear, and settling.

Before you sign a contract, ask for an address of a project from 5 years back. If they can’t give you one… that tells you everything you need to know.
