Ribbon Cutting at Beinn Mhabu! Welcome to Shannon House!

Less than 12 months after breaking ground, this 24-unit student housing building is ready to welcome its new residents!

M3D was very fortunate to be part of the design team alongside Lakeshore Living with construction assistance from Zutphen Construction and DJ MacLean & Sons Contracting. We are truly grateful to Beinn Mhabu for the decision to 'shop local' for the design and construction expertise needed to see this project through to its successful completion.

This was M3D's first foray into modular construction, and hopefully not the last.

As any designer will tell you, all the drawings on paper (or PDFs) don't matter much until they're built. Over the years, David MacLean and all the skilled employees at DJ MacLean and Sons have built more than a dozen buildings M3D has designed or provided construction documents for. They skillfully bring our designs to life and are a pleasure to work with. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition.

Congratulations to DJ MacLean & Sons Carpentry on receiving the Jack Hartery Lifetime Achievement Award on Thursday evening at our 75th Anniversary Fall Awards Gala. The Jack Hartery Award is the Strait Area Chamber's highest honor and the MacLean family joins a long list of outstanding businesses in the Strait who are identified by their peers for their business leadership, longstanding history of success in their business and have a reputation of being good employers and community champions. Congratulations to the MacLean family on this well deserved honor!
