Our production will be taking a step back this week as we take the time to transform this schools worn, hot and tired play area in London's North East end.
Almost a year and a half in the making, the ground breaking day has come. We couldn't be more happier to be putting our resources and equipment to use and give back in one of the many communities we serve!
Our week ahead is far from relaxed as lots needs to happen to take this plain asphalt space and make it a more naturalized and friendly learning environment. Some of our work to be done:
- Removals of; dead trees, concrete, asphalt and subbase
- Excavation and export of the current soil
- Stormwater management and drainage improvements
- Import of new soil and growing media
- Planting of new trees
- Base preparation for new playground equipment
- Installation of Engineered Wood Fibre mulch
