Joel and Andrew started Top Notch Fence & Deck in 2010 with an arsenal of experience in the industry under their belts. They worked their summers throughout highschool and university for a couple of different fence and deck builders. With their skills being honed after years in the industry, they decided to step out on their own and master their craft bringing their joy for building to their new c

lients. Their hard work, cleanliness, and attention to detail has been industry-leading and has helped them grow to be one of the premier deck builders in the GTA. In 2021, Top Notch Fence & Deck was rebranded as Top Notch Decks and a new location added to service the Barrie and surrounding areas. These two intend to continue to grow in their craft and take the details of fine interior finish carpentry to the outdoors where they enjoy most of their time. This brand new walkout deck features Timbertech PVC decking, aluminum railing and low-voltage landscape lighting for a clean, modern look that performs as great as it looks.

Access to the pool and backyard was key for this design. The new stairs fit seamlessly with the existing landscaping, creating a smooth transition from the deck to the outdoor entertainment space.

We primarily build decks for residential homes. You will work with a crew on-site from start to finish.

Applicant must have some experience and skill with deck framing and building, and be experienced with power tools (ie. mitre saw and table saw)

If you are a beginner with some experience, this is a great opportunity as we are happy to educate and help grow your skills in the trade.

A Wolf Home Products deck designed by we wrapped up before the holidays. We went for the open riser on the steps to let as much natural light into the basement window as possible. Nice mix of synthetic, cedar and concrete on this one. @ Toronto, Ontario

Finally had a chance with a bit of time off for the holidays to post some of our projects from the fall... We returned to this one at the beginning of the month to put a bow on this one with some glass railing and stainless steel shoe railing.
