There was an open line on one of the wires on this well pump at mom and dads. Pulled up to find a heat shrink let go at the pump.

We got a call for a Glacier Bay shower valve lacking cold water and something's leaking in the adjacent bedroom soaking the carpet. After discussing with the home owner we decided to swap out the outdated valve for a new Kohler kit.

The old homeowner had cut out a panel in the shower making this swap a breeze. Thankfully we did swap it out because once we opened up the wall, it was a complete mess of compression fittings and sharkbites.

I feel much better knowing everything is solid now and plumbed in properly.
