Good morning, everyone! We have yet another storm system coming through Eastern Ontario later today and into the night. This will bring multiple centimeters of snow to most of the region, but I do expect rain to be the main precipitation type along the Seaway from Kingston to maybe Morrisburg.
I'm expecting this system to arrive later this afternoon and into the evening across the region, moving from the west to the east. This will likely be a pretty heavy and wet snow, with temperatures hovering around 0 degrees for most of the region aside from maybe -2 along the Ottawa River. With temperatures closer to 0 degrees and potential rain issues, this one does have some bust potential with it. That said, Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for 10-15cm of snow for most of the region aside from the Seaway. I personally think most if not all of the region will be below 10cm, but we will see how it goes. This will all be over by sunrise tomorrow as well.
Tom will be live for Canadian Weather Live to cover road conditions, crashes, and everything else in between weather wise. Unfortunately, I won't be able to join tonight as I'm in the middle of moving (that's a post for a different day).
Good luck to everyone driving tonight, it won't be fun at all! Winter Weather with Connor forecast video is up, you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/83bR8XBs5hU
