But what makes this project special is showing how dramatically natural light shifts the feel — from soft morning daylight, to golden-hour warmth with blooming hydrangeas, to the moody glow of a rainy evening with light spilling from the windows. The geometric diamond-tile backsplash is the kind of thing that looks simple in a catalog and transforms a kitchen in real life. Paired with white cabinetry and pops of orange cookware, it gives the kitchen real personality. And the Moroccan screen visible from the kitchen side keeps the design language flowing throughout. The boho balcony — hexagonal planters, printed cushions, city view — makes the whole apartment feel like it extends beyond its walls.

A teenage girl’s room that needed to feel like *hers* — bold, personal, and still functional enough for school nights.

We anchored the space with a platform bed and built-in drawers so storage doesn’t take over the room. The gallery wall of bold animal and botanical prints gives her a backdrop that actually reflects her personality — not just “a teen room.” A floating desk with pegboard keeps supplies within reach without cluttering the space, and the full-height wardrobe means everything has a home.

The result? A room she’ll grow into — not out of.
