EXPERIENCED FLAT ROOFERS WANTED!

We’re looking for a working flat roofers & a Flat Roofing Foreman to join our growing team. If you take pride in leadership, quality workmanship, and running efficient job sites, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise flat roofing crews on commercial projects
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and safety standards
• Train and mentor crew members
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years experience in Flat Roofing (Forman)
• Minimum 5 years experience in Flat Roofing (Flat Roofer)
• Leadership or foreman experience preferred
• Knowledge of modified bitumen, TPO, EPDM, and 4 ply roof systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions

Sliding into the weekend as a single dad of two… and my brain is already making a to‑do list for next week.

If you’re anything like me, the weekend isn’t exactly “time off.”
As a single Dad of 2 young kids, it’s kids’ activities, errands, laundry, groceries, cleaning, and trying to squeeze in a moment to breathe somewhere in between. And even while I’m doing all that, part of my mind still drifts back to the business — not always in a stressful way, just in that “I hope everything’s okay over there” kind of way.

That’s the reality for a lot of us juggling family life and running a company. We care about our kids, we care about our work, and somehow we’re always thinking about both at the same time. So if your weekend looks a little chaotic too, you’re in good company.

I don’t often share personal stories here, but this one has reminded me what truly matters in life and in leadership.

Many of you may have seen the recent news about my friend, Nicole Grigorov. When her surgery abroad took a serious turn, the situation became critical very quickly. In moments like that, business, schedules, and everything else fade into the background. The only priority was getting her home safely.

I did what any friend would hope to do — stepped in, coordinated her emergency medical evacuation from Costa Rica, and made sure she received the care she needed back in Canada. I’m grateful she’s now recovering and surrounded by support.

The messages, calls, and kindness from our community have been overwhelming. Thank you to everyone who reached out.
In roofing and in life, integrity isn’t something you talk about — it’s something you show through your actions. I’m proud to work in an industry where people look out for one another, on and off the job site.
