As we provide residential and commercial services and are often in homes and businesses, we wanted to share what we are doing as a business to help protect ourselves and our valued customers in relation to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It is important to note that currently the risk to local London and Middlesex County residents is low.
We are taking various steps to manage and respond to the evolving circumstances around this pandemic, while following the guidance of our local public health agency Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU), Ontario Ministry of Health and Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), which is the Government of Canada’s lead for COVID-19.
Here’s what we are doing as a company:
- Limiting travel - there has been no recent travel by any staff and staff have no plans for travel in the immediate future
- Staff showing symptoms of COVID-19, including fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, will not be attending work
- Increased sanitation - hands are frequently cleaned in hot soapy water throughout the day; further sanitation of work vehicles, equipment, high touch surfaces and uniforms will occur on a daily basis
- Hands will be sanitized and/or washed prior to entering a residence and/or business and upon departure
- Appointments will be rescheduled if customers are showing health symptoms upon arrival to the residence and/or business
- Online estimates - to help reduce the number of times staff attend customer residences and/or businesses, online estimates and communication via email and telephone will increase
- No handshakes please
Here’s what customers can do:
- Please hold off on scheduling interior work if you or anyone in your family has traveled recently
- Please let us know as soon as possible if anyone in the residence and/or business has been sick and or has a cough, fever or difficulty breathing; we are happy to reschedule your service
Accurate Window Cleaners will continue to monitor the situation and stay current on all COVID-19 news, via the Ontario Ministry of Health's website: https://www.ontario.ca/page/2019-novel-coronavirus
We look forward to continuing to serve our customers and thank you all for supporting our small family business!
