What you get with us is that we travel all over the world to bring the best materials we can. For example, our windows are from Europe and they are engineered to last a lifetime.

We have a lot of things behind the walls that no one sees and no one cares about but I do care. Because the homes we build in Europe have been standing for hundreds of years… 300–400 years. They’re still standing strong. So the desire on my heart is to build something like that. I want to build something that stands forever, from generation to generation.

When you ask your team if they have anything to get off their chest!

A boardroom full of Millstone professionals who clearly needed a vent session!

What starts as a serious discussion about building houses slowly turns into something that feels more like group therapy for our decision makers complete with emotional breakthroughs, a full-on vent session, and way too much honesty for the owner’s comfort.

Just when it looks like the session might actually turn into some healing, the owner snaps everyone back to reality: “this isn’t therapy, it’s Millstone. Of course we can handle it. We’ve got this! 👊🏼

We worked with Ark Cyber IT Security & Support Systems on renovating their office space transforming an initial rough sketch and vision into a functional, polished environment that reflected their team and day-to-day needs.

From the beginning, our goal was to create a space that felt like a natural extension of their business while maximizing layout, flow, and usability.

Throughout the project, we collaborated closely with the client to refine ideas, optimize the space, and accommodate adjustments along the way as new ideas came up during construction.

By maintaining open communication from start to finish, we were able to deliver a finished office renovation that aligned with their vision and left them with a space they were truly happy with!

What was once a commercial space has been completely reimagined into something entirely new.

Our team of builders, designers, and trades came together once again to create a space that feels intentional, elevated, and built with purpose. Every project is a reflection of the people behind it and this one is no exception.

We’re incredibly grateful to have a team that feels like family. When a project wraps, it’s more than just a finish line, it’s a moment to step back, take it all in, and appreciate what can be built when the right people come together.

Elm Hurst Inn & Spa Project…🛠️

We are almost complete!

The Elmhurst Inn Guest Room Transformation Program is a complete refresh designed to elevate the guest experience while still honouring the character of the property.

Each room is taken back to a blank slate and rebuilt with a cleaner, more elevated standard in mind. Old finishes are removed, surfaces are refined, and every space is reintroduced with intention.

Even the parts you don’t see are just as important! The floors are properly prepared and levelled so everything on top sits exactly as it should. That attention to detail changes everything in how the room feels.

From there, it’s all about layering in quality: upgraded millwork, custom details, improved storage, and thoughtful design elements that bring warmth and consistency throughout each space.

Bathrooms are fully redone with updated vanities, lighting, mirrors, and hardware to create a more cohesive, modern feel.

Each room is then completed with new furniture and finishes, with slight variations in select spaces to keep things feeling unique while still aligned across the property.

This project has been so fun to work on. Seeing the transformation happen room by room and watching the vision come to life has been incredibly rewarding.

It’s a balance of heritage and modern comfort, designed to make every stay feel that much better!😍

The story behind Millstone Homes

The story behind Millstone Homes is one of faith, perseverance, and remembering where it all started…

There was a time of arriving in a new country with absolutely nothing. After being stuck in a container for 17 days, the journey began from zero. No guarantees, no comfort, no clear path ahead. Only faith, determination, and the grace of God.

There were seasons of hardship, including times without a home. In those difficult moments, a promise was made: one day, I will build homes for people. One day, I will give back. One day, the struggle will become something that hopefully helps others.

Everything starts with a dream. First it begins as a thought. Then it moves onto paper. Then the paper goes on the wall, where you look at it every day and refuse to let go of the vision. With time, sacrifice, prayer, and relentless work, that dream becomes something real.

Everything that has been built came by the hands of God and the support of those who stood beside me along the way. That is why gratitude remains at the center of it all.

Millstone Homes is more than construction. It is a reminder to stay humble, to never forget where you came from, and to honour the journey that shaped you.

Most importantly, it is about waking up the dreams of people who are afraid to dream and showing them that even from nothing, something extraordinary can be built.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey and to those who continue to support it. Your belief, trust, and encouragement mean more than words can express🙏🏼.
