Too many machines, not enough counter space. We hear it all the time.

So we designed this dedicated coffee bar to get all the soda streams, nespressos, coffee makers off the main counters. Turned it into a central party prep area. Soft white shaker cabinetry, every espresso tool has its place while an under-counter beverage fridge keeps everything within reach. Warm brass hardware and a patterned tile backsplash add character (the wow factor!).

It’s about creating a purposeful space so that all those machines and appliances look like they belong there.

We kind of did things backwards here. While we were working on the kitchen, a fireplace magically appeared in the dining room. Then the furniture -- and still an uninstalled fireplace with no design elements. So we decided to work with the room and figure out how to tie the kitchen, the new furniture, the new layout and bring it all together.

Some kitchens just feel right the moment you walk in.

For this space, we paired custom white shaker cabinetry with a warm wood island to create contrast that feels inviting. Open floating shelves and a dedicated coffee bar keep everyday rituals close at hand, while the spacious island anchors family gatherings and late-night conversations. Matte black hardware and elongated charcoal tile add depth, giving the crisp millwork a modern edge.
