October is Renovation Month!

A successful renovation starts long before the first wall comes down.
It starts with thoughtful planning, clear expectations, the right team and a process you can trust.

As a RenoMark® renovator, CLAY is proud to be part of a national program that helps homeowners identify professional renovators committed to established standards around contracts, insurance, warranties and professional conduct.
Whether you're considering a new kitchen, an addition, a whole-home renovation or simply wondering what might be possible in your home, Renovation Month is a great reminder to start the conversation early.

Planning a renovation for 2027? Now is a great time to get started!

Let’s talk about what’s possible for your home.

This home has been part of London’s story for more than 140 years. Built in 1884 for Dr. John Salter, a prominent figure in London’s medical community who served as an apothecary, dentist and doctor, this Princess Avenue home has a history all its own.

Our work here has taken place over several years. In 2021, we renovated the kitchen, creating a space that works for modern-day living while drawing inspiration from the character and architectural details found throughout the home.

More recently, our work continued with the award-winning restoration of the front porch and renovation of the ensuite including that incredible copper tub.

Through each chapter, the approach has remained the same: respect what makes this home special while creating spaces that work beautifully for life today.

And this Sunday, you'll have the opportunity to step inside and experience it for yourself.

Today, we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.

It is a day to listen, learn and reflect on the history and ongoing impacts of the residential school system, and on the role we all have in reconciliation.

One modern. One historic. Two very different CLAY projects.

This year’s LHBA Parade of Renovations gives us the opportunity to show just how different a renovation can look.

At Wychwood, a 1960s bungalow was completely reimagined into a modern home designed around art, nature and everyday living.

At Princess, the approach was very different, honouring the character and history of the home while adapting it for modern living, including its award-winning front porch restoration and renovated ensuite.

Two homes. Two different stories. And on October 4th, you’ll have the chance to walk through both.

When: Sunday, October 4 | 11 a.m.–4 p.m.

Grab your tickets, plan your route and come see the transformations for yourself. We’d love to show you around!

Things are looking pretty pawsome at Country Paws!

The new Adventure Park is officially OPEN! 🎉🐶 The outdoor space is ready for its four-legged guests, with plenty of room to run, play and explore.

We’ve been sharing progress on Country Paws throughout construction, so it’s pretty exciting to see another major piece of the project complete and being put to use.
